"We used this for a Christmas party and there were a lot of people at this party, but it went off without a hitch. As people were reading their parts, because it was so well written, they really got into character. The on-lookers were practically rolling on the floor laughing and the readers were having an absolute blast as they became their character. Totally loved the dramatic flare this author used and have actually looked for other works of hers. Definitely worth having a party, just to perform this skit. Very funny. Lots of great memories that naturally builds friendships. Highly recommend!"

Who We Are
The Dramatic Pen Press, L.L.C. is a venue for the publication of works of fiction, select non-fiction, poetry, and drama.
We are open to submissions; however, because we are a small company, we only accept a very limited number of works for publication.
The Dramatic Pen's tagline is: Write To Bless The World.
We take this mission seriously, and so are committed to publishing only family-friendly materials. We will not be publishing anything that contains any of the following: profanity, lewd or obviously offensive behavior, material that glorifies, condones, or encourages dangerous behavior, such as, but not limited to: promiscuity, drug use, thievery, the harming of others, and other risk-taking behaviors, plays that obviously promote a religion or worldview that contradicts the basic tenets of Christianity, discriminatory messages or off-color jokes based on race, gender, religious affiliation, etc.
We will be publishing works that are: funny, life-embracing, suitable for a wide range of ages, secular or religious, fun-loving, for audiences of all sizes, and for a variety of venues.

The Dramatic Pen was founded by Susan Thomas, M.A. She is an award-winning, multi-published author. She has been writing for over 25 years, has lead critique groups for over a decade, and has been actively publishing since early 2014. She is a dynamic, gregarious speaker and educator.
